“JOIN US HELP JAPAN” donation boxes were placed throughout the hotel where employees and guests were able to contribute to the worthy cause for the past two weeks. Nearly $500 in cash was donated by the staff and hotel guests.
PIC Saipan also joined in the fundraising event held at the Garapan Fishing Base last week. As part of the fundraising activities, Kieran Daly, PIC general manager was “jailed” and “bailed out” for $500.
In addition, the Pacific Islands Club contributed $2,500 to the Japan Disaster Relief.
Masatoshi Otsuka, Japan marketing manager, and Vicky Benavente, executive assistant, presented the donations to Perry Tenorio, Marianas Visitors Authority managing director, and Hiroko Tenorio, MVA Japan marketing manager.
