The airline moved the 10 a.m. flight to Saipan at 12:15 p.m., according to sources.
The plane didn’t take off until close to 1 p.m. It flew smoothly to Saipan but left many passengers wary and concerned.
Last Sunday, Cape Air flight 9602Y requested for an emergency landing after its small aircraft experienced a mechanical problem.
One of those aboard said their journey was turbulent and when they arrived on Saipan, there were emergency vehicles waiting for them.
The Commonwealth Ports Authority said Cape Air experienced a mechanical problem with its fuselage.
