This is an informative conference that would further educate the parents and guardians of the 8th Graders of Chacha Ocean View Junior High and Kagman High School on such topics as: Students First — what it means literally and how its translated into the CNMI PSS Programs & Policies; School’s Budget & Title 1 — school’s share of the pie and what the Title 1 funding provide for our school; Longitudinal Data for S.B.A. & S.A.T. — what the test results mean and the short and long term plans to address concerns, if any; Accreditation & Turnaround Status; 1 Session for a Parent Literacy workshop; and our Students’ Achievement Level.
The conference is an opportunity for concerned parents and guardians to be well informed on existing programs and policies and with the hope to encourage more and more parents and guardians to actively participate in all matters of the school system.
Education Commissioner Rita A. Sablan and key staff, principal Alfred B. Ada and vice principal Leila A. Staffler will be the presenters of the above topics.
Parents and guardians are highly encouraged to dedicate just this one day of the whole school year to attend this special event for the sake of our children.
Ask your child to get you a registration form from the Kagman High’s office, any of their classroom teacher, from Gina Sambilay at the school’s library, from Hellen Jebehn at Kagman Elementary (for the Chacha Jr. High’s 8th Grade parents/guardians) or request a copy through email: [email protected].
