Little Legals outrun Braves, 6-5

Third baseman Bradley Pangelinan delivered a run-scoring single at the bottom of the sixth to hand the Legals a 6-5 win over the Natibu Sports Association Tanapag Braves.

Pangelinan went 2-for-4, sending Jordan Reyes home earlier at the third inning.

The Legals took a 2-1 lead at the end of the first, bagging two runs from Vincent Ogo and Reyes.

The Braves – firing back – caught up, 2-3 at the top of the fourth with runs from Andres Camacho and Nathaniel Torres.

Reyes, who switched from pitcher to second baseman, went 1-for-4 with three runs, one single, and two base-on-balls.

Both he and Jessie Kalen struck out 10, walking three.

Braves’ Brandon Pua replaced Torres at the bottom of the fourth and tallied six strikeouts. He and right fielder Angel Iguel scored consecutive runs to the tie game, 5-5 at the top of the sixth.

Enforcers 4, Comets 3

The Junior Police Officer Program Enforcers posted four late-game runs to beat the Rep. Joseph Deleon Guerrero-Tan Siu Lin Foundation-Mike Tenorio Dandan Comets, 4-3 in an earlier game.

The Enforcers – scoreless in the first five innings – recovered from Shakobe Rangamar’s run. Both Dennis Cabrera and Robbie Solis walked off after Rangamar’s double and reached home plate to tie the game, 3-3.

Center fielder Cedric Camacho followed with an RBI triple to push the Enforcers one run ahead.

Comets’ Cassius Fitial hit a double at the bottom of the sixth but failed to return home after a third out from Lorezno Sebakliun’s strikeout.

Camacho and fellow pitcher Joaquin Saralu struck out 12 and walked two.
