Wild Shooters still first in Thursday Flametree

Paul Guerrero, Norman Camacho, and Jesse Villar ignited Dutty Guns’ winning rally after bagging three points in the opening round of the Singles 301 Double in/ Double out round.

Nothing would stop the Dutty Guns from dominating. To prove this they swept USSP Watever after securing all four points in the Single Regular Cricket round after suffering a minor upset in the Partners Wild and Crazy round prior to the Regular Cricket.

Team Dutty Guns had a great time competing in the Partners Burma Road. Partners Norman Camacho, paul Guerrero, Phil Fejeran, and Jesse Villar collared both points for the round advancing the scores to 11-3.

The Dutty Guns faltered during the last round of 1001/1101 Double in/ Dobule out losing the point to team Watever. However, team Watever was far behind only tallying a total of four points to hand the win to the Dutty Guns, 11-4.

No Fear defeats Real Deal

Oleai’s No Fear used their home arena to their advantage as they edged past the Flair’s Real Deal after tallying in at total score of 11-4 at the Oleai Bar and Grill.

Team No Fear’s winning rally was ignited during the Partners Wild and Crazy Cricket after following a rather lethargic start. Cris Selepeo, Henry IIo, Frances Magofna, and Sally Aguon showcased their darts talent after scoring both points the round had to offer.

They then moved swiftly through the following rounds of Singles Regular Cricket to pocket all four points, Partners Burma Road for another two points, and finally to dominate in the 1001/1101 Double in/ Double out round, 11-4.

Na’Gupu no match for Gaia Gaiana

Team Gaia Gaiana B edged past the Naked Fish’s Team Na’Gupu by one point, 8-7, at the Gaia Bar in Garapan despite team Gaia suffering a very early upset in the game after losing all four points in the opening round of the Singles 301 Double in/ Double out.

George Cruz, Brothers Fred Salavaria and Jun Salavaria, and teammate Victor Borja ignited Team Na’Gupu’s winning rally after nailing all four points during the opening Singles round.

Team Gaia refused to be fazed and stepped it up a notch during the Partners Wild and Crazy Cricket. Partners Kento Togawa, John San Nicholas, Felix Travilla, and Steve Chae put all their skills together and it paid off in the end. They were able to get on the board after notching both points from the round.

The four points allotted in the Singles Regular Cricket and Partners Burma Road were split clean in the middle; two points per team to bring the scores to seven points all prior to the final Team 1001/1101 Double in/ Double out round.

With much anticipation Gaia’s Felix Travilla, Kento Togawa, John San Nicholas, and Steve Chae dominated the round by a landslide to hand the upset of the game to Team Na’Gupu, 8-7.

Wild Shooters 9, Why Not 6

In the last darts event of the night Buddies Wild Shooters stayed atop the Thursday Flametree division after handing Oleai’s Why not another loss at the Buddies Bar and Grill, 9-6.

George Medina, Jojo Guilas, and Pepe Orola each clinched a point in the Singles 301 Double in/ Double out round.  Partners Guilas, Medina, Orola and Renato Barros revealed their talent in the hair raising event of the night.

They each showcased their talent to prove that they should stay atop the league’s Thursday Division. The fantastic four nailed both points for the Partners Wild and Crazy Cricket moving to the Single Regular Cricket to collar all four points and the game.

Even though the Wild Shooters lost the Team 1001/1101 Double in/ Double out round, team Oleai’s Why Not was still four points shy of defeating them, 9-6.
