The woman said she was driving southbound when the vehicle in front of her suddenly turned left in front of Moylan’s Insurance.
The woman said she avoided hitting the vehicle by stepping on the brakes. But because the road was slippery due to the rain, the woman lost control of her car which overshot the pedestrian pathway, hit a tree before coming to rest inverted.
The woman and her male companion said they were “OK.” There were no visible injuries on them.
The incident caused heavy traffic in the area while workers of towing company pulled out the vehicle.
