Tinian Dynasty’s poker tournament open to Saipan players

Tinian Dynasty marketing and promotions manager Chell Funtanar said the event is for 60 players only, plus 15 alternates. The entry fee is $55 for each player.

Funtanar said a group of Korean golfers will be joining the Texas Hold ‘em Poker tournament tomorrow.

The golfers will be on Saipan for a golf tournament tomorrow afternoon before heading to Tinian in the afternoon to join the poker tournament.

Tinian Dynasty is offering a special room and airfare package for off-island guests, including players from Tinian. The special rate for a single hotel room occupancy plus airfare via Star Marianas Air is $100, while double occupancy with airfare is only $75.

For non-players who want to come over for the weekend, Funtanar said the regular room rate is $99 and $60 round trip airfare via Star Marianas Air.

Funtanar said they scheduled the “Pika, Pika” poker tournament this weekend to give players a chance not only to enjoy the poker challenge at the casino but also to experience Tinian’s Hot Pepper Festival which will be held at Tachogna Beach a few yards away from the hotel tomorrow and until Sunday.

“We want to invite more players to come to the island,” Funtanar said.

The casino will also be re-launching and renewing its campaign for the Paradise Slot Club. They will be distributing fliers over the weekend, Funtanar said.

This is the casino’s second Texas Hold ‘Em Poker tournament for the year. They held the first one during New Year’s Eve which was participated by players from Saipan and Japan.
