Pentecostal church conducts another successful medical outreach

Church  Pastor Claire Javillonar said their medical outreach was conducted in celebration of their 10th year in giving free health clinics and other public services in collaboration with the Philippine-based Dalaw Kalinga (Care Visit) Foundation.

The medical mission in Garapan on Sunday was the church’s second village-to-village outreach.

The first was held at the Tanapag basketball court which drew more than 70 community members from As Matuis, Tanapag and San Roque.

In Garapan, the mission also provided free blood pressure and blood sugar examinations, eye check-up, body massage, reflexology, haircut, facial massage and counseling.

Community members also received free health products like bathroom tissues and milk.

Javillonar thanked the sponsors: Marianas Eye Institute, Lyn Muleta, the Northern Marianas College Nursing Club headed by Hervin Jacinto, Salon-Rhea, Viel Salon & Spa, Micronesia Brokers Inc., church volunteers and members.

She also congratulated Bhoy Labrador for getting the $150 worth of gift certificate from the Marianas Eye Institute.

On April 24, the church will conduct its third village-to-village free health outreach at the Gualo Rai basketball court.

“Let’s keep extending our help to our needy community and remind them of God’s love,” Javillonar said.
