The Japan Times Co., Ltd., publisher of the Japan Times newspaper has two media crews on Saipan for on-location shooting coverage expected to bring an estimated $100,000 ad exposure value to this resort destination. The shoot is focusing on a “Oba: the Last Samurai” historic tour being sold by travel agent Pacific Development Inc. as a result of the movie. Diving, scenic sites, and the Garapan Street Market will also be included.
