Wednesday’s Ballroom Fever at GIG a success

The performers, all clad in colorful and attractive dance costumes, waltzed away on the dance floor to show their skills in chacha, swing boggie, waltz, rhumba and reggae.

The performers were students of the Rose Dance School in Garapan, dance instructors and guests.

The event, which was also covered by a local TV station, started at 9 p.m. and ended at past 10 p.m..

Dance instructor Eden Quizon said “Ballroom Fever” was their Valentine presentation.

“We had to do it days before Valentine’s because that was the only date available at GIG,” Quizon said.

He was very happy with the positive response and huge attendance of students and guests who showed up for the event.

“Ballroom Fever” was opened to the public.

Rose Dance School owner Rose Chan said she was delighted with the turnout and the success of the show, which only means that more and more people are taking exercises through dancing seriously now.

“We are inviting everybody to enroll and learn the art of ballroom dancing. You will not only get your exercise, you will also enjoy it at the same time,” Chan said.
