The responsible persons used that tool of the CNMI Open Government Act to act like movie actors. They used Mr. Atalig to be their spokesperson in the media. They were never afraid of the Tinian Bar Association. They shook the fundamental foundation of the CNMI’s rule of law. They never thought of their legal clients — or whether they will lose them or not. And most importantly they never feared that one day they would stand in court with their clients and be asked if they were guilty of a guilty conscience.
The damage is done and forgiveness will be considered and given, the punishment will be measured and hammered, the victims will receive retribution, the laughter will be sadly regretted, the movie actors have taken their revenge. What goes around will definitely come around and the movie is now over.
