The league will start with an opening ceremony at 4 p.m., with defending champion Satbahe playing the first game at 5:30 p.m.
This season’s competing teams include Pacific Trading Company, Brabu Pharmacy, Hanwa Hotel and Resort, Andhok’s Litson, Inch Cape, Blue Haus, Armatech, Triple J, Satbahi, Archers, Cargo Express Seabridge, Cellular Pro, Soul Jazz, and Mobil.
Team Satbahe — headed by Coach Marlon Sison in 2010 — defeated Wings Travel, 95-92 to win last September’s playoffs.
Games will be played every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Teams will be divided in the regular season’s A and B divisions.
Available awards include Pennant Champion, Regular Season MVP, Finals MVP, Top Four Finishers, Mythical Five, Statistical Award, Best In Uniform, Best In Muse, Individual Champion, Best Coach, and Sportsmanship Award.
