The two – along with Nikko Gutierrez, John Taisacan, and Ryan Batac – battled it out at Capital Bowling Center last Sunday, with Aldan piling 677 pinfalls.
Aldan averaged 169.25 pins per game, earning the most in game two with 233. Both he and Mckenzie fell to Gutierrez’ 155 mark in game one. Aldan bagged 149 pinfalls in game three to take the lead and finished with 159 in game four.
Mckenzie started with 147 pinfalls to outrun Aldan in game one. He tallied 154, 129, and 160 to gain 590 pinfalls and a 147.5 average.
Gutierrez totaled 585 pinfalls to take third place.
Taisacan posted 127, 111, 129, and 123 in games one to four for a 490 pinfall total. Batac followed with 67, 110, 111, and 105 to earn 393 overall.
Last month, Mckenzie surpassed Aldan to win the 2010 Prince of the Lanes finals. Aldan topped last year’s October, November, and December roll-offs in addition to winning the January title. He received $20 for his first place finish. Mckenzie and Gutierrez won $15 and $10, respectively.
