Water Front Oasis routs Blue Haus in IT&E-UFO masters

WATER Front Oasis continues to fight their way to the top of the masters division of the 2025 IT&E-United Filipino Organization Basketball League as they collected their third win of the season by trouncing Blue Haus, 74-60, at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium on Saturday.

Blue Haus struggled to find their first bucket in the first few minutes of the opening half which allowed Water Front Oasis to grasp the early lead with Bryan Manabat delivering four points. However, the tables quickly turned as Blue Haus staged a rally thanks to JR Barrios and Brendon Talania, who scored 14 and eight points, respectively, to gain a double-digit advantage.

Water Front Oasis’ Bryan Natividad responded with three consecutive three-pointers but still lacked the support needed as his team trailed by nine points going into halftime, 40-31.

Despite Blue Haus’ strong start, they failed to maintain efficiency in the second half. Water Front Oasis’ pressure defense was the game-changer, effectively shutting down Blue Haus’ productivity. With each stop or forced turnover, Water Front Oasis delivered on the other end as Ramuel Agusto and Natividad combined for 15 points to snatch the lead.

Blue Haus tried to hang on for dear life, but with more misses than makes they only fell further behind while Water Front Oasis’ Manabat and Tony Diaz scored four points each to help secure the win for their team, 74-60.

Joining the winner’s circle was A+ Consulting, which crushed Best Deal, 108-70, in the open division.
