Northern Marianas College this week marked a milestone as the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation energized NMC’s newest building, the Proa Union Student Center, with NMC Vice President for Administration and Advancement Frankie Eliptico activating the main breaker. The building is funded by the U.S. Department of Education, with supplemental funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Office of Insular Affairs. Eliptico thanked CUC and partner contractors involved for their efforts in energizing the building.
