TRUE North Dartified continues to fight its way through the pits in the ladies division of the 2025 SEDA Bud Light Dart League, improving its record to 125 wins after defeating 9 Eleven Throwing Shade, 9-6, in a match held Monday at True North Bar.
Both teams were evenly matched. Nish Wabol struck first, throwing a PPD of 9.12 to defeat Throwing Shade’s Evita Norita and claim the opening game of the 301 Double In/Double Out set.
Throwing Shade answered quickly, as Samantha Calvo and Dominique “Nika” Calvo delivered back-to-back wins with PPDs of 8.40 and 10.38, respectively.
Dartified’s Janae Cabrera then closed out the set with a win of her own, leveling the score at 2-2.
The momentum stayed balanced in the Partners Crazy Cricket set, which also ended in a 2-2 split. Dartified, however, began to click in the Partners 501 set, where Wabol and Vanessa Williams, along with Ariel Leon Guerrero and Cabrera, swept all four games to take a 5-3 lead.
Dartified pushed to extend its advantage in the Singles Regular Cricket set, with Wabol and Nina Sablan claiming the first two games. Throwing Shade refused to back down, though, as Calvo and Angelynn Elameto captured the remaining two games to draw the set, 2-2. The teams then split the Partners Half-It set, keeping Dartified narrowly ahead, 8-6.
In the end, Dartified sealed the deal in the final Team 1101 game, securing the 9-6 victory.
Also joining the winner’s circle were XXX Dartaholics, who edged Bistro Lady Bandits, 8-7; 6JMS Vicious, who routed XXX In The Middle, 12-3; and Bravo Dart Doas, who defeated Bistro Paiwel, 10-5.
