INDIVIDUALS interested in child development are invited to attend a free information session about Northern Marianas College’s Early Childhood Education Academy Certificate Program on Friday, Sept. 26, at 5 p.m.
The ECE Academy offers a fast-track program for students to earn college credits while gaining essential knowledge and hands-on skills needed to succeed in childcare and daycare settings.
Starting in Fall 2025, the program features an accelerated format designed to be completed in under two years. Its career-focused curriculum prepares students to meet the workforce demand for qualified early childhood education professionals. Graduates must commit to working at licensed daycare centers upon completion, supporting the CNMI’s growing childcare sector.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and qualify as U.S. workers under current eligibility standards.
The information session will be held in rooms K1 and K2 of NMC’s As Terlaje campus.
For more information, contact the NMC Center for Training and Innovation at cdi@marianas.edu or call (670) 237-6802.
