THE Truth is the CNMI is a highly religious society that use the phrase “what we have done & failed to do” in a serious “confession” to God. However, this very serious morality-ideal goes far beyond the sanctity of religion & our personal life to include the “good & evils” that WE as a People “have done & failed to do” in the very use of our vote to be governed by those who rule over our lives. Being a Religious Scholar & Poly Scientist who wrote Messages in the North Star approved by the Bishop, I think I’m qualified to say with a high degree of certainty that the REALITY is “WE have made some very BAD choices & failed politically,” as history tells the TRUTH about our political decisions. First and foremost, when it comes to this morality-ideals of ALL of Christianity is to LOVE & FORGIVE” as WE have ALL fallen short of being the PERFECT human in every way. Forgiving & Love is acceptable but being “foolish” is not acceptable to vote for despair. However, the kicker is, “WE have Failed to Do in our morality-ideals, which has led to a continuous decline of our business sector & economy.” Not to mention the many previous closures under Arnold and now the only Movie Theater is closing signaling the continued decline of being more like a “third-world country” — it’s truly sad & pathetic! The signs of FAILING to Do have been flashing for years and still No Economic Recovery Plan!
I know from my personal experiences that many of our leaders & their supporters don’t adhere to the religious & humane ideals of “love & forgiveness” as my you-know-who critics can only use my mistakes 50 years ago and being an outsider to incubate & breed bigotry that only prevented progress FOR the People. But it’s OK among Republicans to have a “Mafia-style President with 34 Felonies” destroying our nation exemplifies pure HYPOCRISY! The Governor’s “nepotism” is even OK when WE don’t need a non-functioning & costly Cannabis Commission & Director that government agencies can do a better job at no extra cost. WE have too many “cowards” for leaders who are just “rubber-stamps and how soon too many leaders forget on Monday what they pledged to do on Sunday” when it comes to their fiduciary duties in protecting & serving the People over Party-BS. Just look at how billions have been wasted and even given-away with BOOST right in our faces with no accountability until AFTER-the-Fact (too darn LATE) and WE still elected Arnold! Heck, it should be even clear now that Tina was the better choice like VP Harris was clearly the lesser of the two-evils, as Arnold’s Economic Failures & Trump’s EVIL are being carried out in live & living color. I’m sure many voters (mainland & CNMI) are saying, “What have I Done with my vote, OMG”!
First year Political Scientists learn that every election in REALITY is “a choice to select the lesser evil,” which is really easy on the “MERITS,” as every candidate is human and capable of “good & evil” and I’m sure readers will agree. However, the majority still chose Ralph & Arnold as the top two picks in the last election, the same two people who wasted nearly two billion when WE know Tina was more Trustworthy and even known for MORE Transparency in OUR Government. I think it should be clear by now that “what WE have done was to commit to a Mafia Boss President in America and the Same-O Same-O Republican-BS in the CNMI and WE got the Same-O, LOL to keep from crying. What WE failed to do was to elect the very OBVIOUS lesser of the evils” — Tina & Kamala, simple not hard to elect success if you vote on the REALITY of the MERITS. WE must learn to vote “PRUDENTLY on Merits” not by party. Heck, WE got NO Economic Recovery Plan, just Photo Ops in D.C, begging the Feds for money, deflecting issues like the Cannabis & Casino Commissions, gaslighting unused-money and ribbon cutting events for show.
The days of “Popularity Elections for the Biggest Rooster” really need to be “in the rear-view mirror & lost to history,” as it is truly time to start electing people based on their MERITS and not their political affiliation with a Party, which is what has KILLED the ability of our Legislature to “adequately place the proper & fiduciary checks & balances on what the Executive has done & failed to do.” Our House of Representatives have proven they are now just a “rubber stamp” FOR the Governor, not the People, which must change FOR the Better! WE were just lucky recently a Senator stepped forward to place a check on the Governor for illegally paying the Casino Commission who have finally gone silent and I pray they quit. WE need MORE checks & balances on the Governor given “what he has done & failed to do.” Arnold vetoed the gaming Bill, as there was nothing in it for him and he’s not afraid of losing any political real estate, especially on Tinian & Rota that are Blood Red “die-heart GOP.” I feel for the People who are “die heart GOP when everything eventually DIES” just look at Tinian & Rota that have yet to progress under GOP Die-hardship. The next time you vote do a REALITY-CHECK on how you may have failed by voting the WRONG people into office based on party, not their merits which is why the CNMI is declining right in front of your eyes — going nowhere and even BACKWARDS for REAL — for TRUE!
One People, One Direction.
