(Press Release) — On Wednesday, October 15, the Japanese Society School of Saipan expressed its appreciation to Herman’s Modern Bakery for hosting an educational field trip on Sept. 27.
Principal Mr. Hideaki, along with two teachers, visited the bakery to personally deliver thank-you notes written by students.
During the visit, the students learned about Heman’s remarkable 80-year history, participated in a DIY cookie-making activity, and listened to stories about the bakery’s long-standing connection with Japan.
The field trip provided 35 students with a valuable opportunity to learn about a beloved local business that has become a part of Saipan’s cultural heritage.
The field trip was featured on KSPN2 News on Sept. 29.
