Team Guam wins 10th Ladies Cup

TEAM Guam won the 10th Marianas Ladies Cup Challenge, held over two days at the LeoPalace Resort & Country Club of the Pacific on Guam on Nov. 15 and 16, 2025.

The annual tournament opened with a best-ball competition, then saw more action on the second day with individual female golfers competing in match play.

In the match play, Team Guam finished with 6.5 points to claim the crown, while the CNMI scored 5.5.

Guam’s Nalathai Vongjalorn shot a 76 to lead the individual match play and take the championship title. She carded a 37 on the front nine and a 40 on the back for a gross of 77.

CNMI’s Noriko Togawa and Guam’s Meimei Smith shared second place, while Mary Rhodes finished third.

In the best-ball competition, Team Guam scored 5.0 to win the championship. The CNMI finished with 1.0.

The other CNMI golfers who competed were Lydia Tan, Sherlyn Jones, Yuko Togawa, Lorraine Babauta, Terry Guerrero, Rose Rohringer, Sae Hee Kim, Janet Torres, and Evan Cabrera.
