g Dinanchi were crowned Bud Light Cup champions in the Kingfisher C division of the 2025 SEDA Bud Light Dart League after outlasting XXX Shaft Benders in a nail-biting 8-6 finals showdown Wednesday night at Tom Yum Restaurant.
The championship, held at the end of the double-elimination bracket, featured both teams showcasing the skill and competitive spirit that carried them through the Kingfisher C-Division Bud Light Cup tournament.
The match began with quick exchanges in the opening Partners 301 set. The pairing of Peter “Dung” Pangelinan and Rayner “Sugar Ray” Sekool gave Shaft Benders an early lead by outplaying Darting Dinanchi’s Tahannie Dela Torre and Michael John Jr. However, Dinanchi’s Michael Ayuyu and Peter Rran leveled the score by defeating Shaft Benders’ Stanley “Spartans” Aldan and Byron Castro, 1-1.
Darting Dinanchi’s win boosted morale as they entered the Singles Crazy Cricket set with confidence. Rran, John Jr., and Ayuyu thrived in one-on-one play, collecting three straight wins to build a cushion before Shaft Benders’ Aldan stopped the streak, 5-2.
The rest of the night saw Shaft Benders struggle to close the gap, managing only to split the next three sets: Pangelinan and Arney Pelep took one game in the Partners 501 set, while Pangelinan and Aldan earned a pair of wins in Singles Half-It, and Pangelinan and Sekool added another—but ultimately it wasn’t enough. Darting Dinanchi held on to seal the 8-6 victory and take home the Kingfisher C division Bud Light Cup title.
