WHATEVER extra money Karl King-Nabors receives goes directly to his people. It is customary for Tinian politicians to attend every wedding, christening, graduation, birthday party, and funeral. They also contribute toward medical referrals and are expected to give assistance to other families in need.
Karl is exactly the type of person you want to represent you as a senator. He does not have a gambling, alcohol, or ice addiction. He is not paying child support. As far as I know, he does not have a mistress or a child he needs to support. He consistently gives back to children involved in sports.
He is one of the very few politicians who can make more money outside of politics. He was the leader of Tinian’s four-time championship flag football team, part of Tinian’s mock trial team that won the championship three times, and a member of Tinian’s championship basketball team. He is a winner.
As a player, he stood up and took charge. That showed his coach and teammates that he was willing to take the hit for the team. I see some of his father, Bill, in him — though not as smart as Bill, but few people are. His politically savvy mother will hold him accountable if she feels he is going down the wrong path.
He is an excellent role model for the younger generation. I am sure he is a godfather to many children now. I would like to reiterate that most of the money he earns goes back to his people. Thanks for the monkey bars, Senator!
