CHCC receives notice rescinding prior termination communication from SAMHSA

(CHCC) — On Jan. 14, 2026, the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation received a termination notice under 2 CFR §200.340(a)(4) from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration related to specific grant funding.

Upon receipt of the notice, CHCC acted immediately and responsibly to safeguard continuity of care. Internal teams activated contingency and continuity plans, leveraged alternative funding streams, and strengthened coordination with partners to ensure that essential behavioral health priorities, services, and patient care continued without interruption.

Throughout this period, CHCC remained focused on protecting access to services for individuals and families who rely on these critical programs.

We are pleased to inform the community that CHCC has received notice rescinding the termination and advising that the prior notice be disregarded. This action confirms the continuation of the affected programs and supports the ongoing delivery of services.
