KANOA Football Club continues to solidify its place at the top of the U17 Girls Division in the TakeCare Youth Soccer League Spring 2025, earning its sixth win of the regular season with a 6-1 rout of Paire Football Club at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville on Saturday.

Kanoa played as expected — with dominance on both ends of the field.

As soon as the ball dropped, Kanoa’s players applied overwhelming offensive pressure. After just three minutes of play, Aubrey White found the back of the net to hand her team the lead, 1-0.

Despite a rough start, Paire shook off the early-game jitters and held their ground for the next 20 minutes. However, Kanoa’s persistence eventually paid off, with Beatrice Gross scoring the team’s second goal in the 25th minute, followed by White’s second contribution three minutes later to extend the lead to 3-0.

Kanoa maintained its dominance throughout the second half as Gross and White picked up where they left off. Gross scored her second goal in the 42nd minute, while White completed a hat-trick with two more goals in the 44th and 59th minutes.

Paire’s Stacy Arriola managed to break her team’s silence in the 56th minute before accepting defeat at the hands of Kanoa, 6-1.

Winner’s circle

Joining the winner’s circle was MP United Football Club, which collected its second win of the season by beating Shirley’s Football Club, 4-1.
