PRIORITY Care and CHCC earned separate victories on Saturday, defeating their respective opponents in the 2026 Priority Care Inter-Business/Government League at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

Priority Care extended its winning streak with a dominant 100-77 victory over PSS.

From the opening tip, Priority Care established a blistering pace. John Thongaram Jr. led the early offensive assault, scoring the team’s first 10 points, while Steve King later took over the highlight reel with 13 points to help build a double-digit lead. Although PSS attempted to slow the bleeding in the second quarter, it managed just 10 team points and trailed 51-31 at halftime.

Priority Care further solidified its control in the third quarter with a 28-12 run, stretching the lead even wider.

PSS found a second wind in the fourth and final quarter, producing its best offensive output of the night. Mii Tekopua and Melvin Sakisat led the charge with strong finishes inside, but their efforts only softened the blow as PSS ultimately fell to Priority Care, 100-77.

CHCC vs Federals

The second game of the night belonged to CHCC, which edged the Federals, 66-60.

CHCC looked like the sharper unit from the opening tip, controlling the tempo and holding a slim lead throughout the first half. Balanced scoring proved to be the difference, with Kevin Leomo setting the tone in the first quarter and Sean Apasan taking over in the second to push the lead to double digits, 36-24.

The Feds mounted a rally in the second half as Leo Apelo and Tim Welsey heated up, knocking down back-to-back baskets to pull within single digits by the end of the third quarter and continuing the push into the fourth.

However, Apasan answered for CHCC, pouring in 12 straight points in the final period to keep the Feds at bay and secure the 66-60 victory.
