CLARA Chang claimed the spotlight in the March tournament of the CNMI Women’s Golf Association, notching a net score of 66 at LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort on Saturday.
Consistency was the key to Chang’s victory.
On the front nine, she shot a gross 44 and carried her swing over to the back nine, where she nearly mirrored her initial performance with a gross 45, for a total of 89. Sporting a handicap of 23, Chang earned a net score of 66.
In second place was Terry Guerrero with a net score of 69 followed by Lorraine Babauta with a net score of 75.
