Price freeze still in effect

(CNMI Joint Information Center) — On April 11, 2026, the Commonwealth declared a State of Significant Emergency and a price freeze under the Commonwealth Disaster Price Freeze Act.

All prices of items for sale, as well as housing rentals including apartments and condos, remain frozen until the order is rescinded or the emergency is terminated. Price increases are prohibited while the freeze is in effect.
