TANAPAG Middle School bagged their fifth win in the boys middle school division of the PSS-NMIVA Interscholastic Volleyball League SY24-25 by defeating Hopwood Middle School at the Marianas High School gym on Tuesday.

TMS had a strong start as they displayed dominance from the serving line throughout most of the opening set.

With a powerful overhand serve, TMS co-captain Peter Camacho fired off eight aces. His efficiency energized his teammates, who also delivered several aces and finished strong.

HOP finally caught a break when TMS committed two unforced errors, but these only delayed the inevitable as Tanapag wrapped up the first set, 21-2.

HOP began to turn things around in the second set, thanks to the teamwork of Leon Galarse, Aiden Gamboa, and Zuriel Abejo, who went toe-to-toe with TMS. However, as the game progressed, TMS regained momentum and finished off HOP, 21-16, to secure the victory.
