(Press Release) — Saipan’s Land and Sea: Living Stories of the Past, Present, and Future, an educational program for K-12 educators funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities in collaboration with East Carolina University, will be hosting several public events at the American Memorial Park indoor theatre. All events begin at 5 p.m. and are free.
We invite the community to join us.
The schedule is as follows:
• June 30: Galvin Deleon Guerrero will screen “Fifty Years of the Covenant: Promise, Progress, and Perspective” film and then lead a discussion about the film.
• July 1: Genevieve Cabrera will provide a lecture & discussion about NMI history.
• July 2: Nancy Bo Flood will provide a lecture and discussion about storytelling and writing with community.
• July 7: Genevieve Cabrera will provide a lecture & discussion about NMI history.
• July 8: Nancy Bo Flood will provide a lecture and discussion about storytelling and writing with community.
