Strong interest prompts NMC to add additional info session

(NMC) — Northern Marianas College saw a packed room at its information session held at the NMC Olympio T. Borja Memorial Library in As Terlaje on Saturday, drawing many community members interested in furthering their education ahead of the upcoming Fall 2026 semester.

Session attendees learned about the range of programs offered at NMC, navigated the college’s admissions process, and explored available financial aid options.

Participants who attended the information session also qualified for waived application and placement test fees for NMC’s upcoming Fall 2026 semester, a savings of approximately $75.

The number of attendees prompted NMC to host an additional information session in August 2026, with more details to be announced later.

NMC’s Fall semester begins in September 2026. Registration for new and continuing students is ongoing.

The college offers several degree and certificate programs, including a Bachelor of Science in Business Management (with or without a concentration in Accounting), and a Bachelor of Science in Education (concentrations in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Rehabilitation and Human Services, or Special Education).

Other offerings include Associate of Arts in Business; Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration (emphases in Accounting, Business Management, or Computer Applications); Associate of Applied Science in Hospitality Management; Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts (emphases in Education, Health and Physical Education, Pre-Engineering, Social Work, or without emphasis); Associate of Science in Nursing; Associate of Science in Agriculture; Associate of Science in Natural Resource Management; Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice; and Associate of Science in Fire Science Technology.

Certificate programs include Basic Law Enforcement, Business Management, Computer Applications, Early Childhood Education, Fire Science Technology, Hospitality Operations, Nursing Assistant, and Small Business Management.
