THE Truth Be Told, “You’re Blowing It Son (Senator Castro)” which are the words Angelo Dundee said to Sugar Ray at the end of the 14th Round against Hearns and Sugar Ray responded in grand fashion knocking Hearns out in the 15th Round. Well, I don’t expect Senator Castro to change his tactics like Sugar Ray did and go back to his original Party that got him elected but it needs to be said publicly that he is “blowing-it” the more he opens his mouth trying to justify the poli-trick he’s trying to keep sitting. I’m sure it was Ambrodamus’ Op ed that generated his response, as I didn’t see anything in the newspaper about the Dems asking him to explain WHY he flipflopped to the GOP.
First and foremost, the Senator needs to know “We the People don’t CARE about his personal preferences, especially his choice for Governor,” as he was elected to represent the preferences OF-the-People even when he disagrees. Who does he think he’s fooling as he has now literally put his foot-in-his-mouth and now he’s trying get it out by justifying his support for Ralph. I personally don’t have anything against the Senator, but I DETEST his efforts to poli-trick the People just so he can keep sitting. He didn’t mention any rational nor reforms to HELP-the-People as being his reason for jumping into Ralph’s ship that figuratively needs to be sunk to the bottom of the Marianas Trench. The Senator had the chance to be the leader of the Democrat Party but that would require real commitment & work so he tries the Same-O Poli-trick of jumping into another ship that has been so successful in the past but I pray voters will STOP being so gullible & being poli-tricked to teach the Senator and a lot of the incumbents a lesson. The sooner WE, Voting Stewards of the CNMI, start firing people and send the message that WE are fed-up with the Political Bigotry, the Poli-tricks & the Impotency WE have been forced to endure the sooner our leaders and the CNMI will turn the corner to be on course for improvements and even prosperity — it has always been on YOU (voters) to fix the CNMI!
Like many, I went to apply for the D-NAP only to see hundreds of people in a SINGLE line who were NEVER processed after over 8 hours in a line to NOWHERE — it was PATHETIC! The problem is not the front-line workers who are just doing as they were instructed but the LEADERSHIP who FAILED miserably to put-in-place a logistical methodology to address the tremendous and obvious demand for the program. It seems they were trying to do the job with the same workforce when anyone who understands “logistics” would know they needed to increase their service capabilities by a factor of 10 to 100. People are spending the entire day in line to no avail and given the present operations even with the two open days at the end of the scheduled processing, they still won’t be able to process everyone — it’s a logistical nightmare for the People & the Staff who are obviously short-handed. The D-NAP fiasco is a clear reason WHY leaders need to always keep their eyes & hands on the pulse OF the People & Events in the CNMI, but I didn’t see a single leader there in support and raising concerns FOR the People who are caught in a helpless situation that was meant to HELP!
I’m writing this FOR the People like I always do and I pray the Governor and Elected Officials won’t pretend they didn’t see this and will intervene by making sure the additional staff are added to meet the needs of the program. I was also told that WE will have to line-up again at the multi-purpose center to receive the food-stamps which doesn’t make sense, as it should be a “one-stop process.” So PLEASE Governor, Senators & Representatives, someone needs to DO-Something FOR the People who continue to suffer, as getting relief should not be the “SUFFERING Task” that has been created due to a lack of caring enough to create an “expeditious process FOR the People.” God Bless & God Speed to fix this logistical nightmare for all the parties involved.
One People, One Direction!
