CK Smokehouse Restaurant launches healthy menu

AT CK Smokehouse Restaurant, you can eat well and still stay fit.

On Feb. 3, 2025, the Chalan Kanoa restaurant unveiled new healthy options for diners looking to cut back on high-calorie foods.

Although it still serves local favorites, which include a variety of fried chicken dishes, irresistible beef soup and many other delectable menu items, CK Smokehouse is keeping its commitment to meet customer demand.

The restaurant’s management has observed that, nowadays, more people are trying to stay fit without giving up the habit of eating out.

According to the restaurant’s marketing manager, Dae Il Lee, “coming up with these healthy menus is motivated by several factors.”

One is customer demand. He said that with more people looking after their health and wellness, offering nutritious meals appeals to health-conscious diners.

 CK Smokehouse Restaurant, Lee added, cares about the community’s well-being.  Promoting a healthier lifestyle, he said, “contributes to the overall well-being of our customers and the local community.”

Promoting a healthy lifestyle has also been a personal passion of the management team. Lee said they want to provide meals that support good nutrition and well-being.

For example, CK Smokehouse’s grilled chicken breast steak is simple yet satisfying, making it perfect for those looking to shape up. It consists of a pound of chicken breast served with a side of broccoli, carrots, and onions, all stirred in olive oil and sprinkled with salt, pepper, and ginger powder.

You should also try their tuna salad, topped with egg and rice on a bed of lettuce, drizzled with sesame oil and sprinkled with sesame seeds; the soft tofu veggie canape with bell peppers, zucchini, mixed greens, and dressing on the side; and the beef and veggie roll wrapped around enoki mushrooms and carrot sticks.

These are just some of CK Smokehouses menu items that those looking to stay fit can enjoy, Lee said.

He reiterated that CK Smokehouse recognizes the increasing demand for healthier dining options on Saipan, particularly for those managing diabetes, hypertension, and other health conditions.
