Bernice Sabino, second from right, will represent the CNMI in the Miss Asia-Pacific International pageant in Cebu, the Philippines, on Oct. 10, 2026. She was officially crowned Miss Asia-Pacific Northern Marianas after Anne Rivera-Brownstein, who won the local pageant last November, stepped down. Sabino was the runner-up in the local pageant. Gov. David M. Apatang was the special guest at the crowning ceremony, held Wednesday in his conference room at the administration building on Capital Hill. More details to follow.
