THE Napu Riders of Francisco M. Sablan Middle School extended their win streak to two after defeating the Grace Christian Academy Eagles in the boys middle school division of the PSS-NMIVA Interscholastic Volleyball League SY24-25 at the Marianas High School gym on Thursday.

After triumphing against Dandan Middle School in three sets, FMS seemed to have figured out its strengths and weaknesses and applied what it had learned against GCA.

In the first set, FMS, led by Jairus Pangelinan, used all three touches to cook up powerful returns and seize the lead. GCA managed to capitalize off FMS’ unforced errors, but failed to keep up on the defensive end, which allowed FMS to regain momentum and finish strong, 21-11.

In the second set, GCA started to find their rhythm with precision returns and consistency. FMS, however, continued to play the role of the aggressor and applied enough pressure to triumph once again, 21-16.
