OPINION ǀ Truth 83: Hypocrisy – Please Explain Governor & Dems?

THE TRUTH is, Ambrose is a NEW phenomenon who intruded on the Local philosophy of many that “only locals can tell locals what needs to be done,” which is foolish as even the Bible tells us “WE can learn from “ants and even our children.” But like many famous intellectual, philosophical, Social Activists and even Jesus Christ who were rejected for trying to help the people, later became FAMOUS for their efforts, so thanks GOP for giving me the platform. Well, Ambrose is on the same path as these great people being in very great company while the CNMI continues to suffer from “self-inflicted Political wounds,” as Ambrose has never done anything to hurt the CNMI nor harm any citizen but instead tried to prevent the damage to the CNMI from happening.

Yes, Ambrose may be losing against the Republicans, but so are the people losing due to the Republican bigotry and hypocrisy that seems to have even infected Democrats.  FYI, I’m sure the late Bishop would be telling HIS people by now that “God does not reward corruption & hypocrisy” and he certainly “doesn’t like ugly” yet the majority keep voting FOR corruption & hypocrisy.  One main reason WE continue to suffer is due to our “poor choices, especially for governor,” as like many I did pray Arnold would be different, but WE shouldn’t have to pray when there is obviously a BETTER choice. Political Scientist will tell readers that elections are actually about “choosing the lesser of the two evils,” as both parties & independents are all subject to evil, something WE are witnessing now with the Republicans AGAIN and the People’s Party that is totally silent when they should be demanding the Governor to EXPLAIN why he allowed the Cannabis Commission to continue to exist when it’s not needed and EXPLAIN why he didn’t sign the Qualifying Certificate application of MACS that was so highly publicized. You owe YOUR People and explanation Governor and when it comes to our Economy, Zaldy’s editorial on “what they said 21 yrs ago” proves with their own words that Arnold & David are saying the same thing today that they were saying 21 yrs ago. Arnold has only mastered the “political vernacular and the ins & outs of governing” but he certainly does not have the economic creative skills needed to rebuild our Economy. It is not wrong, but right to get an Economist to fix our Economy and Arnold joining the GOP is not a cure either.

But it’s so bad, even the TV news didn’t want to do the story exposing & holding the Governor accountable for the monopoly scheme to trick the People out of 22 yrs of taxes/millions, but they were eager to do a story about my past 50 yrs ago that my wife & I refused to allow. Heck, I started to just let the Governor sign the darn thing and then call the Feds but seeing the faces of the terrified young folk at CEDA forced me to “text and warn the Governor not to sign” as I didn’t want to ruin their young careers being a father myself and knowing they were forced into the subterfuge by the Governor, just look at the tape and see their faces for yourself.  But the CNMI is so full of corruption and hypocrisy that WE all need to worry about the repercussions that are surely coming One-Day! For example: Pray that Trump doesn’t find out the CNMI has been getting billions of dollars over the years for doing TAYA to help America, yet an American can’t own their home in the CNMI. I can only imagine the vengeance that Trump will deliver-unto us. BE careful what you ask for, as you might get it, ask the CWs.

In fact, one person has already hit the news complaining about inequality, obsoleteness and dysfunctionality of Article XII being fixed like I’ve been saying for over two decades. I said a New Day is coming because I know the People must be sick & tired and are NOT going to take too much more of this “Republican Horror Show.” And Dems are not looking great either leaving the present & future of the CNMI in a state of LIMBO in the Political ICU Ward of America.  But I do know that history will always favor the “bold & righteous People,” as one will not be able to talk about the modern history of the CNMI without mentioning Ambrose M. Bennett — for TRUE!  But MY Dems are “gun-shy and afraid to simply say Ambrose is RIGHT,” while Arnold and the GOP are publicly working to smooth things over for another win in 2026. When are Dems and the majority of voters going to come to terms and get their acts together enough for the CNMI to get out from under the Republican CURSE that has been haunting the CNMI ever since I can remember. If the People & Dems don’t change it’s going to be the Same-O Same-O and I will be able to say AGAIN – I Told You So!
