BOURBON Drunken Dart won the A Division Bud Light Cup of the 2024 SEDA Bud Light Dart League after rallying past Spicy Thai SHONGANAI, 9-7, at Bourbon Street Bar & Café on Monday.

It was truly a championship match as neither team could gain a proper lead.

In the opening set of the Partners Crazy Cricket match, SHONGANAI’s Kenneth “Senpai” Kaneshi and Nathan Angui claimed game 1 but Drunken Dart’s Carlos “Dragon” Rivera and high-out leader Diego Nepaial equalized for the first — and certainly not the last — deadlock of the night, 1-1.

In the Singles 501 Double In/Double Out set, Henry “No Excuse” Lizama notched a win for the Drunken Dart, but this was followed by back-to-back victories from SHONGANAI’s Angui and Kaneshi. Nepaial then emerged victorious in game 4 to tie the match once gain, 3-3.

The seesaw battle continued as the two teams split the Partners Regular Cricket and Partners 701 games as well as the Singles Regular Cricket games for another deadlock, 7-7.

In the Partners Half-It set, Kenner “Ken7en” Raymond and Lizama bested Angui and Ken San Nicolas, while Nepaial and Rivera paired up to outshoot Bryron “Sweets” Kaneshi and Kenneth Kaneshi and seal the title match victory, 9-7.
