
(NMC) — Qualified Northern Marianas College students who are looking to access financial aid can receive up to $7,365 in Pell Grant for NMC’s 2025-2026 Academic Year if they submit the 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Financial Aid and supporting documents.
The Federal Financial Aid program is administered by the U.S. Department of Education. Through the program’s various types of grants and scholarships, the Federal Financial Aid program is the largest financial aid provider in the U.S.
Students can submit a FAFSA by logging on to fafsa.gov/. The necessary supporting documents can be found at marianas.edu/fao/. NMC’s school code is 015746.
In order to qualify for the Pell Grant, applicants must:
• Be an undergraduate student who displays exceptional financial need
• Be a U.S. citizen, or eligible non-citizen (green-card holder or a resident of the Freely Associated States)
• Obtain a high school diploma or equivalency such as a General Educational Development
• Have a valid Social Security number
• Be enrolled in an eligible degree program
• Doesn’t have a bachelor’s, graduate, or professional degree.
