THE Department of Public Safety responded to 39 cases and arrested six individuals on Dec. 24 and 25.
Assistant Chief of Police Simon Manacop, in a statement on Friday, said, “There were a total of 39 active cases entertained with six persons arrested for Disturbing the Peace, Assault and Battery, Illegal Possession of a controlled substance, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.”
“Other than that,” he added, “it was fairly a peaceful Christmas.”
“There were no serious incidents reported throughout the Christmas holiday,” Manacop said. “No reports of gunshots or gun-related violence. Hoping for a wonderful New Year for everyone.”
