
(SHRM) — The Society for Human Resource Management-CNMI Chapter is pleased to announce its 2025 Board of Directors. This esteemed group of professionals will lead the chapter’s initiatives in fostering a thriving HR community within the Northern Mariana Islands. Through professional development, advocacy, and networking opportunities, SHRM CNMI empowers HR practitioners and business leaders to advance the workplace and elevate the HR profession.
The 2025 SHRM CNMI Chapter Board of Directors comprises both incumbent and new members who bring a wealth of expertise and dedication to their roles:

• Plumeria Aldan-Castro – Program Director (Professional & Organizational Development Coordinator at the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation) (Incumbent)
• Wendielyn T. Escota – Treasurer (General Manager at Marianas Eye Institute) (Incumbent)
• Anuhea Duenas – Marketing & Membership Director (Human Resources Generalist at Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan) (New)
• Joyce Deleon Guerrero Cabrera – Secretary & Membership Director (Human Resources & Finance Admin Support at Docomo Pacific (Saipan), Inc.) (New)

Roman Tudela, President of SHRM CNMI Chapter, shared his gratitude and optimism for the year ahead, stating, “It’s an honor to work alongside such dedicated and well-rounded professionals who share the same vision of supporting the efforts of our SHRM CNMI Chapter. Since joining the board in 2019, I’ve witnessed incredible growth driven by the concerns, support, and expertise our members bring to the table. I’m excited to learn, grow, and guide the chapter toward another fruitful year of professional development.”
The 2025 Board of Directors installation will take place during the chapter’s first general membership meeting of the year, scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025, at Kevin’s at Aqua Resort Club Saipan from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. The GMM will feature engaging discussions and networking opportunities for attendees. Entry fees are $40 for members and $45 for future members.
