Sobriety checkpoints

(Department of Public Safety) — In collaboration with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s “Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving” and “If You Feel Different, You Drive Different” Halloween Campaign, DPS Highway Patrol Section will be conducting sobriety checkpoints today, Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024.

The first checkpoint setup will be along Beach Road in Garapan from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The second setup will be along Chalan Monsignor Martinez in As Lito from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

In addition to the checkpoints, DPS will increase patrol and traffic enforcement to ensure safety of our community, most especially our children during Halloween activities.
