THE Commonwealth Ports Authority’s board of directors finalized the list of its new committee chairs on Thursday.
On Oct. 2, 2024, CPA Board Chair Ramon A. Tebuteb assigned new chairs to the committees on airport facilities, seaport facilities, financial affairs and personnel. Their appointments were confirmed during the CPA board meeting on Thursday morning.
Tebuteb now chairs the financial affairs committee, which was previously headed by board member Dolores P. Kiyoshi.
Kiyoshi now chairs the seaport facilities committee while board member and former vice chair Antonio B. Cabrera will continue to chair the airport facilities committee.
For his part, board member Joseph M. Diaz will chair the personnel committee which was previously headed by Steve Mesngon, who is now the CPA board’s vice chair.
Board member Thomas P. Villagomez is the new board secretary.
In a memorandum, Tebuteb said with the appointment of the new standing committee chairs, “we stand firm and ready to work and perform [the board’s] mandated duties and responsibilities as outlined in the by-laws.”
The appointment of new committee chairs followed the resignation of the former board chair, Jose C. Ayuyu.
