THE CNMI Baseball Umpires Association or CBUA will be hosting the next Umpire’s Accreditation Course in the latter part of October, and is inviting potential and interested individuals to register.
The course will consist of a 10-hour session covering theory (lecture) and technical aspects (on field mechanics). The evening sessions will be broken down to two hours per day. CBUA requires participants to pay upfront a $50 registration fee prior to the start of the course.
To be a certified umpire, participants must pass at least 70% of the final exam at the end of the course.
