(Commonwealth Utilities Corp.) — There will be a temporary road closure along Chalan Pale Arnold in Chinatown today, Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Wastewater facilities affected: Garapan, Beach Road, Gualo Rai, and Navy Hill
Roadways affected: Inner northbound lane on Chalan Pale Arnold, Chinatown
Purpose: To allow CUC wastewater operators to access the manhole to retrieve a four-inch ABS elbow that is stuck in the sewer line.
Due to the temporary road closure, motorists are advised to reduce speed and exercise caution while driving in the area, or take alternative routes. Detour signs will be displayed to inform the traveling public of the restrictions.
