My name is Pete (Slow) P. Reyes and I endorse Kim Hinds for Washington Delegate. I’ve seen Kim’s passion to fight for the welfare and interest of our people firsthand. She embodies the qualities of dedication and commitment and will, as she has countless times, explore every possible means available to create positive growth for the Commonwealth.
I have had the pleasure of working alongside Kim as a member of the board of directors of the Commonwealth Ports Authority and I can attest to her steadfast resolve, her persistence to break down barriers. These are the kind of qualities that we need in a representative. She is not easily intimidated by obstacles, and she is solution driven.
Through research for available resources that require desperately needed funding from our U.S. Capitol, she was able to secure several reliable contacts in Washington, D.C. that are of significant influence for the welfare of our people. Her background as an attorney is an advantage and will prove to have positive contributions as she strives to advocate for the needs of the people she serves.
I would like to end this endorsement by encouraging voters to carefully consider who they would want fighting for the future of our Commonwealth. If character, passion, a willingness to stand up and speak out are what we need most, Kimberlyn King-Hinds is the only choice.
