Public comments sought on no-cost healthcare services

(Office of the Governor) — The Commonwealth Bureau of Military Affairs intends to solicit assistance at no cost from the Department of Defense’s Innovative Readiness Training Program for CNMI Wellness, a community project.

Project Description: The proposed assistance will provide no-cost healthcare services to under-served residents of CNMI. through basic medical, dental, optometry, behavioral health, and veterinary (small animal) examinations and services.

Project Location: Saipan, Tinian and Rota.

Project Timeframe: The proposed assistance will occur during the spring/summer of fiscal year 2026.

Healthcare providers, labor unions, or private individuals who have questions or who wish to voice opposition to military assistance for this project may contact Tom Linden, policy advisor to the governor for military affairs, at (670) 488-0660/0220, or by email at tom.linden@gov.mp/, or by mail at Caller Box 10007, Saipan, MP 96950 no later than 30 days after posting of this notice. Persons not responding within the time frame noted will be considered to have waived their objections to military assistance for this project.
