
(DPS) — The Department of Public Safety will conduct occupant protection/child restraint checkpoints on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024.
The first checkpoint will be on Chalan Pale Arnold in Puerto Rico, to Chalan Pale Arnold in Garapan, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The second checkpoint will be on Chalan Monsignor Guerrero in Dandan to Chalan Monsignor Guerrero in Chalan Kiya from 4:45 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The third checkpoint will be on Chalan Monsignor Martinez in Koblerville to Chalan Monsignor Martinez in As Lito from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
Each checkpoint will be 75 minutes at every site. The purpose of these scheduled checkpoints is to detect, deter and identify improper use of seat belts and/or child car seat in the highway.
