WITH Gab Camacho and Neil Ibe at the frontline, Solid Lakay rallied in the second half to defeat HBR in the Destroyers Basketball Friendly Games League 2024 at Tan Siu Lin Sports Center in Gualo Rai on Tuesday.
Paul Flores, Albert Agustin and Jun Hernandez gave HBR a strong first half against Solid Lakay.
For their part, Jaime Antonio and Mark Molina fired three-pointers apiece to help Solid Lakay keep pace with HBR, but Albert Agustin and Arfin Chua delivered toward the end of the first half to secure the lead, 48-34.
Antonio and Rodjay Macaraeg took turns penetrating HBR’s defense at the start of the second quarter to gain the upper hand.
With Camacho and Ibe dominating HBR, Solid Lakay protected their lead and never looked back en route to a 75-67 victory.
