SHRM to hold annual leadership forum on July 18

(Society for Human Resource Management) — The SHRM NMI Chapter is excited to announce an exclusive general membership meeting — its annual leadership forum, featuring a complimentary live event that is open to both SHRM NMI members and the wider community. This half-day leadership forum, set to take place on Thursday, July 18, 2024, will be held at the prestigious Queens Hall of Kensington Hotel Saipan.

The highlight of the event is an interactive workshop titled “A New Way to Lead,” which will be skillfully facilitated by Joseph Connelley, chairman of the board for Pacific Human Resource Services Inc. in Guam. This engaging workshop will delve into the qualities that distinguish great leaders, with a focus on the “Fundamental Beliefs of Trust and Inspire Leaders.” Based on the extensive research of Stephen M. R. Covey, participants will explore how Trust & Inspire leaders possess a profound understanding of human effectiveness and leadership, guided by core beliefs that foster a Trust & Inspire mindset.

Workshop goals:

1) Discover Extraordinary Potential

Unleash the incredible potential and performance capabilities that Trust & Inspire leaders can achieve.

2) Identify and Overcome Barriers

Recognize common barriers to becoming a Trust & Inspire leader and explore practical solutions to overcome them.

3) Understand Fundamental Beliefs

Grasp and apply the essential beliefs that underpin Trust & Inspire leadership.

“If we want to make minor changes in our lives, we can focus on our attitudes and behaviors. But if we want to make significant, quantum change, we need to work on our basic paradigms,” Dr. Stephen R. Covey said.

This annual leadership forum promises to be a transformative experience for all attendees, providing valuable insights and practical tools to enhance leadership capabilities. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from industry experts and network with fellow professionals in a stimulating environment.
