GHIS finishes third in 26th Academic Challenge Bowl

(Golden Harvest International School) — In a thrilling display of intellect and teamwork, GHIS students clinched third place in the 26th Annual Academic Challenge Bowl for the Elementary Level on April 20, 2024 at Marianas High School, garnering a final score of 430 from the easy, medium, and hard rounds of the competition.

The Academic Challenge Bowl is hosted by the National Honor Society of Marianas High School to measure the elementary school students’ knowledge in English, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, Art, and Music.

The GHIS team was comprised of Gabriel Frederick T. Cariaso, Ethan James B. Bahillo, and Nathalia Reana B. Dagos. They faced formidable opponents from various public and private elementary schools in CNMI.

In light of their success, GHIS extends a heartfelt thank you to their coach, Carmela C. Valdez; adviser, Jeanne M. Salcedo; principal, Jennifer P. Reyel; and the supportive teachers and parents who have guided and encouraged them. The students of GHIS have not only made their mark on the academic landscape but have also set the stage for even greater accomplishments in the future.
