A celebrated opening of ‘Art Alchemy — Elixir of Generations and Mediums’ at CAHA Art Gallery

HAGATÑA (CAHA) — The “Art Alchemy — Elixir  of Generations and Mediums” exhibition opened on April 6 will continue until May 3, 2024, Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Council on the Arts and Humanities Agency Art Gallery at the DNA Building, 238 Archbishop FC Flores St., Suite 202, Hagatña, Guam.

The exhibit features the works of Jay Buhain Redila, Ryan Grey Santos, Rubyjane Buhain-Redila, and John Ruffy Buhain.

Spanning different age groups, the artists bring a diverse range of perspectives  and mediums  to the showcase. 

Leading  the group  is John  Ruffy  Buhain,  representing  the senior generation, followed by Rubyjane Buhain-Redila, who has amassed an extensive portfolio through her 40’s.

Talented counterparts Jay Buhain Redila and Ryan Grey Santos, high school seniors, contribute fresh insights from younger generations.

Each artist presents a diverse collection of works utilizing mediums such as acrylic, oil, charcoal, pencil, marker, digital paintings, and mixed media, reflecting a captivating fusion of styles, techniques, and themes that embody their individuality, culture, self-identity, passion, and talent. Together, they create an artistic alchemy that transcends generational boundaries.
